AMERIT AWARD 2005

Four papers were received for A-Merit Award 2005.

The titles of these papers, along with the names of the authors, are listed below in the order of merit after evaluation by A-MERIT.

1. Effect of the availability of Foot Board support on Cardiovascular responses to orthostasis. Sqn Ldr Piyush Renjhen (WINNER).

2. Intraocular pressure and visual acuity changes during 6 hours of simulated microgravity by dry floatation. Sqn Ldr Mona Dahiya (STAND-BY).

3. Effect Of Hyperbaric Hyperoxia On Sympathovagal Interactions. Major Naveen Chaudhary.

4. Personality Traits And Psychological Test-Taking Response Styles In Aircrew. Dr. Biju Thomas.

 

Sqn Ldr Piyush Renjhen, pictured below, is the recipient of the Award 2005. He presented his paper at the Annual International Congress of Aviation & Space Medicine (ICASM) in Warsaw, Poland in Sept 2005.
