AMERIT AWARD 2007

Three papers were received for A-Merit Award 2007.

The titles of these papers, along with the names of the authors, are listed below in the order of merit after evaluation by A-MERIT. 

1. Autonomic Modulations During Five-Hour Exposure to Hypoeroxic Hypobaria, Simulating Cockpit Conditions in an Air Superiority Fighter Aircraft of the Indian Air Force. Dr Prasanth P (WINNER), Lt Col KK Tripathi.

2. Hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) as an adjuvant to the treatment of stress fracture. Sqn Ldr R Joshi (STAND-BY), Wg Cdr VG Vasishta, Gp Capt CK Ranjan.

3. Effect of Low frequency Vibration on Visual Acuity Through Night Vision Goggles. Maj S.Venkatesh, Gp Capt S Chowdhary.

Dr Prasanth, pictured below, is the recipient of Award 2007. He presented his paper at the Annual Scientific Meeting of the AeroSpace Medical Association (AsMA) in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, in May 2007.
