Suresh Chandra Babu
MBBS (1970, Mysore), DipAvMed (UK), Master in Occ Med (UK) 

Born and brought up in Mysore, India. Migrated to Australia in 1972. After post graduate surgical training in Edinburgh Scotland, decided to join the navy. Not accepted as could not swim! Joined Royal Australian Air Force in 1979. Served for 24 years with RAAF including SMO position in Butterworth, Malaysia. Held three command positions: as CO 3 Hospital in Sydney, SHO at Edinburgh and finally CO IAM Edinburgh. Now retired from RAAF and working as a civilian practitioner, and also as a supervisor for the college of General Practice.
 

Special interest: Aviation Medicine, occupational medicine. Very happy to be involved with AMERIT, and looking forward to meeting other members.
