Born in India, migrated to Singapore in 1959. Brought up in Singapore.
Went to Patiala for Medical studies. Returned to Singapore with wife (Dr.
Charanjit Kaur) and kid. Worked for 18 years with the Republic of Singapore Air
Force, Subsequently – Civil Aviation Medical Board, Initially as Deputy
Chairman and from 1997 – Chairman.
